Spring is here!

The weather around here has been pretty great lately! Paige LOVES to be outside. She wanders around the yard climbing on rocks and talking to herself, drawing with chalk in the driveway, playing on the swing set, and jumping on the tramp. One day when we were outside together she made a plan for us of the things we were going to do. We were going to swing, go on the teeter totter, go down the slide, roll down the hill, and then we were going to do it all over again.

Derby Race

For the past 4 years the GEMS have won the derby race at church and this year was not different. The winner was a nervous little 6 year old who wouldn't even watch her car go down the track.

Here's Liv with her 1st place trophy and her car. The excitement on her face when they announced her as winner was priceless. (I wish I had gotten a picture of it!)

Morgan and Olivia with their cars. (I should mention that Morgan did get 5th place) Hopefully next year the Cadets will still want to race the GEMS at the Derby!

Snowmobiling

We took the girls snowmobiling last week Saturday. The trails weren't that great but they had a fun time!



Paige fell asleep 5 minutes into the trip so Bryan had to ride with one hand holding on to her and one had driving. When we got back to the house he laid her in the snow and she slept there for another 20 minutes. What a silly girl!

The kitchen is finally finished and we LOVE it! I forgot to take any good before pictures but here are a few I found.

Holland Aquatic Center

My mom and I took the girls to the Holland Aquatic Center last Saturday. We had a great time! A rare moment of the 3 of them together! Morgan loves swimming did everything she could possibly do while we were there! Paige practicing her bubble blowing. Last time we went Liv wouldn't go down the slide at all, this time that's all she wanted to do! Paige loved the slide too. She usually went down on her belly but this was one of only 2 times that she went down on her bottom.

It definitely tired them out, Liv and Paige fell asleep on the way home. That night Paige even asked if it was bed time because she was tired and wanted to go to bed, gotta love that!!!

Pictures of Jackson

I was able to make it up to the hospital to see Jackson, he is doing great!! I was able to hold him for the first time too. He is so so tiny and precious!

Jackson David Henion

We have a new nephew and cousin! Jackson David Henion was born to Ron and Heidi today. He is 3lbs 7oz and 16.5in. He is 6 weeks early but is breathing on his own right now which is awesome. He has low blood sugar so he does have an iv. Continue to pray for him to grow bigger! I'll post more pictures soon.
