First Day of School

This year all the girls are in elementary school. It will be the only year they all are in the same school. It is crazy for me to think that Morgan will be in Middle School next year! Here they are on their first day.

Morgan is in 5th grade

Olivia is in 3rd grade

Paige is in Young 5's

Swimming Lessons

The girls did swimming lessons again this spring. I am happy to say Paige didn't cry at all (last year I think she cried at almost every class). They all did wonderful and had a great time!

Bathroom Project

Our downstairs bathroom was in desperate need of a remodel. The kids NEVER used it so we decided it was time they had their own bathroom. I completely forgot to take before pictures. We made it much bigger than what it was so now the girls have a lot more room and more than one can be in there at a time.


Picture is a little dark but new shower door and new vanity.


New everything. Our old vanity was tiny and now we have a 6ft vanity and lots of counter space. If you look in the mirror the old bathroom ended where the picture on the wall is. We added extra space for a longer vanity and the toilet got its own space




The towels are across from the shower (and the art project I did).

Easter

This year we celebrated Easter at Grandma Ena and Grandpa Dave's house. Because it was so nice out we were able to do our egg hunt outside.



Trying to get all the kids to look didn't work so well, you can't win every time!

Spring Break

We stayed home this year (like always) but we still found some fun things to do!

We went to the Holland Aquatic Center and had a great time like always.





We went bowling. It was Paige's first time bowling and she was so excited! We all had a great time!







My mom and sister took them to bounce party (I have no pictures because I was at work). I think they had a pretty good spring break even though we stayed home!

Derby Race

This year both Morgan and Liv got trophies at the Derby Race. Last year Olivia got first place so this year the plan was for Morgan's car to be faster than Liv's. Well that plan didn't work and Liv came in first again and Morgan came in third. Morgan didn't mind though, she said as long as a GEM won it was fine with her. (The Cadets could have won this year but they wanted to run the top 12 over again in a second heat and that is how the GEMS won, otherwise Liv would have been in third. I don't think they will do that again!)


Liv's car is the green and blue one and Morgan's is the one with the pink sun.


Liv's car also got the track record! (I forgot to take a picture of that though, oops)

The Butterflies Are Blooming

We went to the Meijer Gardens with my family to see the butterflies.

Live Nativity

This year our church had a Live Nativity. The girls really enjoyed doing it again, Paige especially because she could participate! It was pretty chilly out there but what a great way to tell the Christmas story.

Wax Museum

This year Morgan participated in the 4th grade Wax Museum. Each student had to pick a person from our history and research them. Morgan choose Pocahontas. She did an awesome job researching and finding props. On the day of the Museum she had to be in character, stand in one spot perfectly still, and when someone stood in front of her she could change her position and tell them about herself. She did Awesome!!
